Ingredients
15ouncestomato sauce
1cupketchup
1/3cupdark brown sugar
1/3cupmolasses
1/4cupapple cider vinegar
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
2teaspoonsdry mustard
1teaspoonchipotle chili powder
1teaspoononion powder
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
1/2teaspoonkosher salt
1/4teaspoonground black pepper
1/4teaspooncayenne pepper
Instructions
In a small to medium saucepan, combine all the ingredients using a spoon or whisk.
Place the saucepan on medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Once simmering, reduce the heat to medium and continue cooking the sauce at a low simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until it thickens.
Once the sauce has thickened, remove it from the heat.
You can use the sauce immediately or let it cool before storing it in a covered container in the refrigerator.
