In a medium saucepan, combine the apple cider vinegar, ketchup, and brown sugar. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.
Add the hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, yellow mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to the saucepan. Stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed. If it's too tangy, add a little more brown sugar. If it's too sweet, add a little more vinegar.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature. It will thicken as it cools.
Once the sauce has cooled, transfer it to a jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid. Store the sauce in the refrigerator until ready to use.
