Beurre Blanc Sauce
This delicious beurre blanc sauce is a classic French sauce that goes well with seafood, vegetables, and other dishes. With just a few ingredients, you can create a smooth, velvety sauce that is perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any meal.

Ingredients

tablespoon
butter
2
tablespoons
shallots
chopped
1/4
cup
white wine
1/2
cup
whipping cream
1/2
pound
unsalted butter
softened
Salt and white pepper
to taste
1/2
teaspoon
lemon juice
Instructions
In a small saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté the chopped shallots until soft.
Add white wine, bring it to a boil, reduce heat, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Add whipping cream, reduce heat further, and let the mixture reduce for 10-15 minutes until it reduces by half.
Slowly whip in the softened butter, a little at a time, using a wire whisk. Don't let the mixture boil while adding butter.
Once all the butter is mixed well, remove the sauce from heat and whip it vigorously.
Strain shallots from the sauce, and season it with salt and white pepper. Add lemon juice.
Keep the sauce in a warm place until ready to serve. Do not reheat the sauce as it may break.
