Ingredients
8ouncescream cheese
14ouncesartichoke hearts — drained and chopped
½cupmayonnaise
½cupParmesan cheese — grated
2tablespoonsbasil — chopped
2tablespoonsred onion — finely chopped
1clovegarlic — minced
½cuptomato — chopped
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, chopped artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, finely chopped red onion, and minced garlic. Use an electric mixer on medium speed to blend everything until well combined. Salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch oven-safe ceramic dish.
Bake the dip in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until it's hot and bubbly.
While the dip is baking, prepare the pita bread wedges. Cut 3 split pita breads into 8 triangles each. Place them on a cookie sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until they become crisp.
Once the dip is ready, remove it from the oven and sprinkle the chopped tomatoes over the top.
