1cupbuttermilk
1/2cupwhole milk
2large eggs

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a cast-iron skillet or a baking dish in the oven to heat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix well to evenly distribute the dry ingredients.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, whole milk, eggs, and melted butter.
Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Gently stir until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
Carefully remove the hot skillet or baking dish from the oven. Grease it with cooking spray or a small amount of butter, ensuring the surface is well-coated.
Pour the cornbread batter into the hot skillet or baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cornbread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Once done, remove the cornbread from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
