Ingredients

ripe tomatoes
chopped

small white onion
chopped
2-3
fresh chilies
such as jalapeƱos or serranos, chopped
1/2
cup
fresh cilantro
chopped
Juice of 2 limes
Salt to taste
Instructions
Place the tomatoes, onion, chilies, cilantro, lime juice, and salt into a blender or food processor.
Blend until the mixture reaches a saucy consistency. Blend until smooth or leave it slightly chunky, depending on your preference.
Taste and adjust salt and lime juice as needed.
Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 3 days.
